Seth Landerfelt.

I shot my old friend Seth, who is an up and coming rap artist in Birmingham, today at a location that I have been wanting to shoot at for about 7 years. I now have access to it so expect some more from this location in the coming weeks. Also keep an ear out for some releases of Seth’s. No dates yet, but I will post them when I get word from him.

"Travelin Broke -N- Hungry!"

I passed these guys earlier when I was hiking around town scouting locations. I stopped and chatted with them for a good 30 minutes. They have been traveling via freight trains for the last year and have come all the way from Tacoma, Washington. Some seriously dedicated people to traveling and I enjoyed hearing their stories. I wish them safe travels from here out.

Janna Flurry Hall.

Did another test shoot today with Janna Hall, a model out of Montgomery, Alabama. I snatched up Garrett Coyte to tag along as well since I had a battery issue for my strobes, which I set up only to realize I hate using them causing me to default to shooting natural light per usual. I haven’t posted in a while, but I wanted to post a few shots from a test shoot with Jourdan Cunningham. I was testing my new lens (55mm 1.2), which is gorgeous. April Palozej.

I haven’t shot with April in about 2 years, but she remains one of my favorite subjects and is always very efficient while shooting. We snapped a few quick shots today in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida before the weather turned bad, but I am pretty happy with the overall look.

Gulf Oil Spill.

I went down to Mobile to see my friend, who is working on the coast for the Army, in Mobile to see how the preparation for the oil spill was coming along. The beach on Dauphin Island looked more like a warzone than a beach due to all the Hesco barriers. Naturally, I snapped a few shots while I was there. (Click images to view large)
